It’s a huge myth that plus size women can’t wear stripes; specifically horizontal stripes (We also have to be one uniform shape, because “logically” that makes the most sense.) Well, I’m pretty sure that’s the most ridiculous myth related to plus size fashion, EVER, so I needed to make a post about how we plus size ladies CAN wear horizontal stripes; or even just stripes in general (stripes everywhere.)

This post definitely is not only about plus size fashion though; EVERYONE can wear whatever they want. As soon as we stop thinking that we can’t do something, that’s when the whole world will be changed for the better.

I  just launched the entire line on www.candy-strike.com.

Hope you like it!

Weekend’s ootd shots! played around with the aztec crop top and skirt for 2 different looks. Look 1 with the black crop top is more casual chic, Look 2 with the red maxi skirt is more bohemian. Both pairs of earrings are vintage, bought from eBay.

lovethyfatness:

Last Friday, a couple of us larger yogis went to our instructor’s house and took pictures in her living room. Some will be used at an upcoming workshop she’s teaching for other yoga instructors on how to offer body positive cues and pose modifications to make their classes more inclusive.

She gave us the prompt: “What do you wish more yoga teachers knew about creating body-positive classes?”

We said:
Don’t assume that we aren’t as strong or flexible.
Don’t assume that this is my first ever yoga/fitness class.
Don’t assume that I hate my body.
Don’t assume that I’m there for weight loss.
Don’t assume anything about what I eat.
Don’t assume anything about my health.
